How it came together.
Cham needed seating that could disappear into the space rather than compete with it — a garden bistro where architecture, planting and daylight do the talking. The brief was a single chair, repeated 160 times, that felt hand-made up close and stayed visually consistent across a full room.
We developed the chair around natural rattan: flame-bent frames, hand-woven by our artisans in Gia Lai, then hand-finished and dried under controlled moisture so every unit reads the same in tone and dimension.
The work then became a discipline of repetition: 160 chairs woven, matched and checked one by one, finished, and delivered as one coordinated set. Development to delivery ran 50 days.
